Anthony Taylor, Partner.

Admitted as a solicitor in 1974 having joined the firm in 1970. Anthony is responsible for the day to day running of the Cowbridge office and specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, Wills, probate, trusts, tax planning and elder client law.

Anthony is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Gwyn Davies, Partner.

Admitted as a solicitor in December 1980. Gwyn has extensive experience in property matters, Wills, probate, private client and elder client law. Gwyn is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Law Society's Private Client Section.

Gwyn is based in the Bridgend office and is responsible for practice management issues across the firm.

Gwyn joined Gaskell and Walker in 1988.

Mel Butler, Partner.

Mel is an experienced criminal advocate, having been admitted as a solicitor in June 1985 and since that time he has gained extensive experience in criminal advocacy and all matters in relation to criminal law.

Mel is a member of the local duty solicitor scheme and regularly represents clients at police stations, in the Magistrates Court and in the Crown Court.

He is a solicitor advocate (Higher Courts Criminal Proceedings) and as such, has a right of audience before the Crown Court.

Mel has developed in extensive criminal practice catering for both private clients and legal aid clients.

Mel joined Gaskell and Walker in 1999.

Mari Jenkins, Solicitor.

Mari is head of the family and child care department, having joined Gaskell and Walker in 2008.

Mari has extensive experience in family and child care law and was admitted as a solicitor in 1989 and is a member of the Law Society's Children's Panel accreditation scheme and the Law Society's Family Law accreditation scheme.

Nigel Daniel, Solicitor

Nigel is head of the Employment Law Department.

He has 20 years experience from the Legal Sector and has acted for and on behalf of the members of all main trade unions in the UK.

Kathryn Thompson, Solicitor

Kathryn is from the Vale of Glamorgan and specialises in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters, she is able to see clients either in Bridgend or Cowbridge.She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP).

Bill Loveluck-Edwards, Consultant.

Bill has practiced as a solicitor since 1964 and now acts as a consultant to the firm dealing with criminal advocacy and police station representation of criminal clients both private and legally aided.

Bill brings a wealth of experience and wisdom, gained over many years, to the firm.

Nicholas Lewis, Consultant.

Nick qualified in 1970 and now provides consultancy services to the firm in the area of criminal advocacy and police station representation. Nick is a member of the 24 hour duty solicitor scheme and court duty solicitor scheme.

Nick also sits as Chair to the Mental Health Review Tribunal.

Susan Lewis, Consultant.

Sue was qualified in 1970 and now acts as consultant to the firm both in criminal advocacy matters and also mental health law. She represents clients before the courts and at the police station in relation to criminal law and before Mental Health Review Tribunals.

Sue is a member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel.
